How do I go about becoming a good salsa dancer?

Unfortunately there is no trick. To become a good dancer takes practise, time, money, tears, pulled muscles, listening to the music and understanding the music, watching the pros on You Tube, practising your spinning (not in the shower), practise dancing with your favourite teddy bear / dog / cat / inflatable whatever, watching others, dancing with people who are much better than yourself, making mistakes, making a idiot of yourself, falling over, crying (again), bruises, elbows in the head, shouting, screaming and more crying.

In the end you will be a good dancer. Sadly, there is no end. In the end there is always a new beginning.

The thing that you have to keep in mind is that you will get there, eventually.

You learn the basics and just enjoy the music, the people and the atmosphere.
