What is Salsa Fantastica?

Salsa Fantástica is a not-for-profit queer dance club in London. Its primary purpose is encourage the LGBTT community of London to learn how to dance the most popular club styles of salsa in a comfortable environment. After this the club aims to provide a friendly and social environment in which to enjoy social dancing.

Classes are open to everyone from absolute beginner upwards, and you don't have to bring a partner. Nevertheless, we would love you to bring as many people as you have numbers stored in your mobile phone.

SF concentrates on lead and follow technique, the body movement control that gives salsa the "flavour" and, above all, musicality of salsa music.

SF will primarily teach LA-style salsa. I.e. "breaking on 1" in a linear fashion. This is the most popular style of salsa danced today, not only in London, but around the globe.
